IMG_4563If you are interested to take a closer peek at what’s on my bookshelves, do drop by at Danielle’s A Work in Progress.

Danielle has very kindly invited me to take part in her on-going series of ‘Lost in the Stacks: Home Edition’ posts, whereby other bloggers are asked to share about their books and bookshelves. It’s great fun if you haven’t yet discover her lovely blog (which incidentally, was the first book blog I had ever started reading, and also the one that was responsible for introducing me to the book-loving blogosphere.) 🙂

  1. I really enjoyed having a peek at your shelves, Michelle! Another ‘at whim’ reader too – my style too!

  2. After seeing my countryman Geert Mak on your bookshelf I feel I must comment not only at Danielle’s A Work in Progress but here as well. Just curious which of his books it is? I have all of him and have started In Europe January 2012 as a project where I not only read the book itself but also an author from the countries and periods alongside what he writes about each chapter. It is slow going but very satisfying. I’m just finishing chapter 3 now and entering the interwar period.

    1. Thanks for dropping by, Catharina! Good eyes. 🙂 The Geert Mak on my shelf is In Europe. I am interested in the rest of his books too, but seeing that I am still stuck in April (Chapter 16 – Berlin), I think they can wait. I loved what I’ve read so far, and being stuck at where I am has nothing to do with the book but rather my bad, for being distracted and lured away by other books. I have every intention of getting back on track, hopefully soon. Your project sounds really interesting. Glad to hear that it has been rewarding, too. 🙂
